Polo G is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He became more prominent in 2018 with his singles ”Finner Things” and ”Pop-Out”, later he came out with his album titled ”Die a Legend”, peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA.

Personal Life

  • Polo G was born on January 6, 1999 in Old Town area of Chicago, Illinois and raised in Marshall Field Garden Apartments.
  • He is the second of four children, having an older sister, a younger brother and a younger sister.

Career

  • Polo started his career by recorded his first song named ODA and uploaded on youtube.
  • In 2018, he joned SoundCloud a social media platform, released his track titled Gang With Me, which gained million of plays.
  • Then his single Finer Things, quickly gained over million of views, later in 2019 Bartlett released “Pop Out” featuring Lil Tjay which ranked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and its music video gathered over a 200 million views on youtube.
  • Many views on his music video of Pop Out led to him signing a record deal with Columbia Records and then Polo G released videos for his songs “Deep Wounds”, “Through da Storm”, “Effortless”, and “Dyin’ Breed” from his first debut studio album Die a Legend and ranked at number 6 on the Billboard 2020.
  • Polo G came out with many singles and his second album named The Goat released on May 15, 2020.
  • In 2021, Bartlett Bartlett was honored in the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 listing, under the music category.
  • On february 5, he was featured on the song Last Man Standing in Judas and the Black Messiah film, and featured on the song Fashion in Boogie film on march 5.
  • In May 2020, Bartlett along with social media personality Einer Bankz took to Instagram to release a snippet of an upcoming Polo G single, which went viral. The song was later revealed to be titled “Rapstar” and was released on April 9, 2021.
